Solihull Sustainability Vision Group
Partner Organisations and Networks
Solihull Council and partners co-ordinate a series of free business forums for different areas of the Solihull Borough, aiming to bring together local companies, share information and tackle issues collectively.
Current forums include:
Solihull North Business Forum
The Solihull North Business Forum provides a unique opportunity for businesses in Elmdon, Bickenhill and North Solihull to connect with each other and also to connect with representatives of Solihull Council, Solihull Chamber of Commerce, FSB and other key stakeholders.
The forum takes place 3-4 times a year at various business locations across Solihull. It runs for 90 minutes with networking for 30 minutes before and after. At each forum, there is the opportunity to discuss what is happening across Solihull and hear from the experts who are influencing and affecting the growth and development of businesses in Solihull.
The forum is free to attend.
The forum is continually looking for ways to improve engagement with businesses in the borough. Tourism Forum
Solihull Tourism Forum, supported by Solihull Council and with a private sector Chair, aims to increase the value of the visitor economy in Solihull through improving the visitor experience and raising the profile of all that Solihull has to offer.
The Forum works collaboratively across sectors and organisations to deliver Solihull Tourism Forum's vision, promoting Solihull as a place to see, enjoy and explore. The Forum links with key stakeholders including Birmingham Airport and the NEC, as well as accommodation providers, retail centres and regional tourism organisations in neighbouring authorities where there are opportunities to collaborate.
Junction
4
The Junction 4 Forum is supported by Solihull Council with a private sector Chair. The Forum gives businesses around Blythe Valley, Monkspath, Fore, The Green and Stratford Road the opportunity to come together as a collective voice and respond to local issues and developments that are affecting their business. The Forum also provides a local contact-point to help businesses access the Council's services and resolve business-related issues.
The Junction 4 Forum take places 3 - 4 times a year and is free to attend.

Solihull Sustainability Visioning Group aims; 'to help Solihull to be at the forefront of sustainable business development and a showcase for environmental business standards, supporting Solihull's transition to a low carbon economy'.
Led by senior business representatives and stakeholders including the Group's four key priorities are to:
• Raise the standards of waste, energy generation and energy management practices
• Promote "green technology and innovation that is efficient and cost effective
• Support the development of low carbon and sustainability skills
• Conserve and enhance the Borough's Natural Capital
• Influence regional and local policy making to ensure sustainability is at the heart of key decision making
• Support Sustainable Communities

Solihull Business Improvement District (BID)
Solihull BID was formed in March 2010 after a successful ‘yes’ vote, resulting in a £2.5 million investment which is funding a series of projects to make Solihull town centre a better place to work and visit.

Solihull Chamber of Commerce
