Audit tool for Primary

The Life Ready Primary Audit tool has been designed to helps schools to capture their current life ready/careers activity and identify gaps.  It also  gathers baseline employer engagement data. It includes a detailed breakdown of how embedding Life Ready supports aspects of the Ofsted Leadership Framework.

Life Ready Primary Audit Tool

The Careers & Enterprise Company self-assessment quiz will ask you to reflect on what currently happens at your school.  It contains 21 questions and should take less than 15 minutes to complete. At the end you’ll get some examples of where things are going well and a suggested starting point for making improvements.

Sample Primary Careers and Enterprise Plan

A sample Primary Career Action plan which can be developed following the completion of the Life Ready Audit tool. The plan should cover activity across year groups, sectors and curriculum areas. It should be clear on how it meets the aspirations of learners and how it will be resourced. It is recommended that the Life Ready plan feeds into the school improvement plan; and is published on the school website.  Take a look at some examples from other primary schools to help develop the careers area on your own school website:
